More than three million tourists visit Munich every year. What attracts so many people here? World class museums and old churches, beautiful palaces and picturesque parks, famous beer and beer gardens... Maybe you find some time and in addition to social events visit Munich's places of interest?
If there is no much spare time, just walk in the old town, starting in the
heart of Munich — on Marienplatz: enjoy the carillon and the clock show at
the tower of the
New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) - every day at 11, 12 and
17 o'clock, climb on the tower of
St. Peter church (Alter Peter)
to have a nice view over the city, visit
Cathedral church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) or
Asam church, and do not forget about the well-known food market —
Viktualienmarkt.
