Aim of the Workshop

The goal of the workshop is to review the present status of the tasks as agreed in the July 2005 workshop.

In particular the validation of the various approaches for single particles, jets and different control samples (W,Z/gamma+jets, Etmiss, QCD) will be reviewed ('feed back loop'! First steps...). Studies of the in situ calibration processes on the jet level will be discussed.

Based on the present status an update of the task list, the related priorities and time schedule will be discussed. Finally the goal for the Barcelona workshop and the presentations planned will be reviewed.

The workshop will be structured according to the individual topics. In each of these sessions the present status/work/progress will be reviewed (presentations). Following these presentations all issues will be discussed in detail: priorities, problems, schedule, correlation with other subjects, alternative options, urgent questions etc. A session organizer (for each session) will run the session and lead the discussion. The Friday morning session should be devoted to a summary of the workshop.

The registration fee is 10.- Euro (cash), covering essentially the coffee breaks. We will have a workshop dinner on the 4-th of May, Thursday evening 19:30 at "Weisses Bräuhaus". You can order dishes or menues a la carte. The deadline for registration (e-mail to Peter Schacht: is 31.03.2006. Please give your arrival/departure dates and request for hotel reservation if needed.
