Registration and General Schedule Information

The workshop starts on Monday, 27 March 2006, and ends on Friday, 31 March 2006.

It takes place at the conference site of the Max-Planck Society at the Ringberg Castle in the bavarian alps (http://www.schloss-ringberg.de/english).

Accommodation will be in the castle for up to 41 people in single rooms. Additional accommodation can be arranged in the nearby town.

The full-board price at the castle is 95 EUR per day and person plus a small conference fee (to be announced later) which are to be payed in exact cash at the castle on the arrival day.

Arrival

There will be one shuttle bus from MPI in Munich to Ringberg on Monday at 4.30 p.m.

Participants who cannot arrive at MPI in time on Monday should take the train from Munich main station to Tegernsee (see time table) and a taxi from Tegernsee to the Ringberg castle. Participants taking the train have to enter the last waggon of the train (as marked in red on the time table) because the other waggons are have a different destination.

Departure

On Saturday, 1 April, a bus from Ringberg to Munich Airport will be ready at 9.15 a.m.

We recomment Ibis Hotel Munich North (Ungererstraße 139, 80805 Munich, Tel. (+49)89/360830) to participants who are leaving Ringberg on Friday evening to catch their plane on Saturday morning. On the opposite side of the hotel there is a bus stop for the shuttle bus to Munich Airport.

Internet access

The meeting place has all conference equipment including internet access and wireless LAN (see http://www.schloss-ringberg.de/english).

Participants who want vegeterian food are asked to inform Ursula Grenzemann (urg@mppmu.mpg.de ) about it.
